I offer a free 15 minute consultation to begin – enabling us to grasp the best pace and structure to base the future classes.
Using theming into the structure of the classes, we focus on opening particular parts of the body, set mantras or intentions to closely focus energy towards your highest potential! Let’s begin…
Some of the reasons 121 might suit you:
- Learn the foundations – group yoga classes can be overwhelming. We can work together on creating a solid foundation in the most common poses, while also showing you how to utilise props to maximum benefit. This will give you the confidence and breadth to your personal practise which can translate into your daily life off the mat.
- Deepen your practice – experienced yogis can use these sessions with me to explore areas in more depth to take their experience of yoga to that next level. As yoga is traditionally passed down by word of mouth, we all have had slightly different teaching! This is great when getting to learn from another teacher to create a rounded understanding of the yogic path and history. The 121 can help you develop faster within a group setting with safe instruction to more advanced poses.
- Work with an injury – we’ve most likely all been there, and it’s so important to honour any existing damage. Having this supervision can aid the healing process and ensure individual poses are adapted suitably for your own needs. A great, comfortable practice that’s sustainable is what we’re looking to achieve together!
- Maximise group classes – when we work on a 121 basis it allows time and focus to alignment- knowing what great alignment looks and feels like! By taking time to learn the foundations of the poses you can then practice more efficiently in your regular group/online classes with confidence, increased strength, stamina and awareness.
- Focus on a goal – you may be planning a triathlon, a marathon, compete or weight train! It may be the case you want to deepen a more spiritual practice or have started a health kick and would like to implement mindfulness into your routine. Whatever your goal is, working 121 can facilitate you achieving it!
- Manage anxiety – it’s super important to talk about anxiety, but often it’s a hard place to start. Yoga can open up those blockages, allowing a subtle change in mind set and a focus on your self-care. There’s many healing benefits to yoga, I invite you to come along and try. A 121 doesn’t have to be a therapy session – we can set this time for space away from a doubting, chattering mind. It’s a positive and important step to gift yourself.
